Oh this was such an awesome chapter although I admit I first saw it on ff.net so my review is there...But I do have to say I really love how you show beyond the obvious, the subtle reasons why Guy is better suited for Marian over Robin. The level of maturity he has and the fact he knows her well enough to respect her distance. He is willing to listen and give her space and most importantly; he believes in communication. I cannot wait to read more!!!

Thank you so much (both for the comment and the review)! I do think that of Guy and Robin, Guy is certainly more mature (Marian's "Grow up" line has come to mind more than once when I watch some of Robin's scenes), and I think maturity is what Marian would appreciate as the situation (both of England and of herself) becomes more serious.

Also, you have a really insightful view on Guy. Did you see my comment about the Robin Hood Fan Comminuty forum? Because I think you might enjoy all the discussion threads we have going there. It's alright if you're not interested, just checking that the post went through :)

That's exactly what I've always thought about those two. Robin and Marian just felt like childhood puppy love. Because its forbidden now it makes it all the more exciting, but that's all there is to it =/ just a bum rush. Guy you know there has to be work done but you can see he's willing to work things out to discuss things and approach matters in an adult fashion. Not to say he doesn't have his demons but you can see he's on the cusp of facing them he just needs someone who has faith in him to give him that final push...

Ah sorry for the blathering on =/ I've peeked at the forums (finally made an account too haha) but all the discussion are fairly long so its hard to keep up. I did reply with my thoughts on shipping Marian/Guy although I hope I won't be shot for it hahha Are the folks over there pretty mellow? I'm still fairly in the dark about the fandom because most sites are closed now and I can't find any decent metas to save my bacon!

Anyways keep up the awesome work I'm loving your tales!! =D
